Planet Architectural Glass Utilise Access Cradles
Planet Architectural Glass are once again at the forefront of innovation, using the latest installation methods for London’s skyline. Committed to achieving a high level of excellence in the timeliest way possible we have been using 5 suspended access cradles from Giraffe Access to install GRC Panels and manifestation on one of our largest London projects; The Research and Translation Hub, Imperial College London.
With our highly skilled and fully trained operators handling the panels at great height, these cradles provide powered precise positioning, allowing our on-site staff to position in a highly effective yet safe and controlled environment. Cited as the new approach to the installation method for atrium glazing, the benefits of using the cradle are multifaceted. With more and more sites moving away from scaffolding due to the manpower needed, façade anchorage and time taken to erect it, cradles are becoming the obvious alternative. With the ability to get into any tight areas, these cradles are modular structures able to reach any height. Their fast installation and manual electrical operation make them the safest, easiest and fastest choice for Planet.
By effectively using the Giraffe Access cradles, Planet Architectural Glazing can offer our excellent standard of atrium installation in line with our client’s schedules.
