Introducing Planet’s Industrial Style Panelled Glazing
If you read our blog post on Interior Trends – 2016 back at the start of the year, you would know that we predicted the current rise of popularity in industrial, loft style interiors and furnishings brought over from the other side of the Atlantic.
This desire for open industrial style spaces combined with the current fashion for art deco interior design has resulted in the resurgence of industrial style and panelled glazing on windows and doors, previously made popular in the 1920s. Here at Planet we spotted this trend and have used it as inspiration for our new internal panelled glazed partitioning, by using polyester powder coated aluminium sections to create a ‘window’ effect on our glass partitioning and doors. Custom sized aluminium sections enable both Planet single and double glazed partitions to have the panelled effect. Meaning our clients can now enjoy the industrial style inside their offices. Although we can provide the bands in a complete array of colours, black graphic lines look visually striking and feel contemporary.
Having installed the panelled glazing in our London Showroom, we’ve experienced a great number of orders of this style as a popular alternative to manifestation. The panels still allow for the maximisation of interior light, to create bright open spaces that feel contemporary and clients can customise the thickness of the bands to create the desired amount of privacy, going as light or as bold as they like.
