Another win for Planet Partitioning at the FIS Awards

Planet Partitioning are delighted to have been awarded Silver for the FIS Contractors award in Partitioning. Having previously won gold in 2013 we are thrilled to continue on this winning streak.

The FIS awards; which are held annually; are designed to ‘promote and encourage high levels of craftsmanship’. The site was visited by two award judges in February earlier this year, and the award was presented yesterday at the President’s Lunch held at The Dorchester in London.

Nominated for our work on the British Museum WCEC, Planet supplied and installed our Planet 20m 100 single glazed and FGD acoustic glass doors within the office and meeting spaces. Planet also installed the bespoke atrium glazing and balustrade.

The centre was designed by leading architectural practice Roger Stirk Harbour + Partners. The WCEC provides the museum with world class facilities for visitors and researchers. Working under MACE Construction Planet was praised by their project manager who commented that Planet’s “attention to detail reflects in the final product which looks fantastic”.

Planet Partitioning would like to thank FIS and everyone involved for this accolade.
