Radii Planet Group seek to be a good corporate citizen in everything we do and are conscious of the  kind of impact our business has on all aspects of society, including economic, social, and  environmental impacts. We aim to operate in ways that enhance society and the environment,  instead of contributing negatively toward them.

We have implemented a number of corporate policies, falling within the remit of corporate social  responsibility, which demonstrate our commitment in this regard.

Wellbeing and safety

The general wellbeing, health and safety of our employees and customers is our paramount  concern. Safety underpins all of our operations, and we strive to achieve a working environment  which is free from work-related accidents, incidents and ill-health and promotes and supports a  positive state of wellbeing for our employees and those we work with.

Equal opportunities and dignity at work

We recognise the benefits of a diverse workforce and are committed to providing a working  environment free from discrimination. We seek to promote the principles of equality and diversity  in all our dealings with employees, workers, job applicants, clients, customers, suppliers,  contractors, recruitment agencies and the public.

Diversity, inclusion and social value

Radii Planet Group Ltd recognise that both environmental and social considerations are key to  building a sustainable future for our Company. We understand that our business activities have the  potential to cause significant environmental and social impacts; and concern for the environment,  sustainability and social value is therefore of extreme importance to us.

We understand the importance of cherishing diversity and we are committed to building an  inclusive and varied workplace that welcomes and values difference and contributions from all.

The above are considered as integral and fundamental elements of our business strategy and operating methods and to achieve our commitments we have established a Diversity, Inclusion and Social Value Committee including representatives from all departments and roles across the  business to move this incredibly important agenda forwards.

Key areas of focus for the Committee are:

Outreach activities – engagement with local educational establishments to generate interest in  working within the construction industry and with Radii Planet Group.

Programmes to encourage more diverse groups into the workplace – including apprenticeships,  work placements and mentoring programmes.

Charitable activities – identifying and agreeing charities and charitable activities to be supported  by Radii Planet Group over the next 12 months and in future years.

Modern slavery and transparency in supply chains

Modern slavery impacts almost every economic sector covering operations throughout  manufacturing, the supply of services and transportation. While modern slavery is illegal in every  country, evidence suggests that it still occurs in every country worldwide.

In recognition of this, and in order to support the aims and objectives of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we publish an annual statement confirming the steps taken by the company during the  previous financial year to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part  of our business or our supply chains.

We are a member of the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) which confirms our  commitment to help in the fight against modern slavery within our industry.
