Morgan Sindall approached Planet to put together a cost proposal for all the internal demountable glazed screens, for the new five-storey Strathclyde Police Station on River East, in Dalmarnock, Glasgow.
Due to the sensitive nature of police work, the building needed very high levels of sound attenuation, exceeding 50 dB Rw between meeting rooms and offices.
The new Police Station at Riverside East holds more than 1,000 staff and is part of Clyde Gateway’s vision to transform the banks of the Clyde by 2018 – a regeneration project that includes a new business park and housing.
